The documentary is going to try to show and analyze the similarities in the different directors’ styles and subjects, including important landmarks in their evolution and reception. In 2016, the birth cradle of the “Berlin School”, the German Film and TV Academy Berlin (DFFB) is going to celebrate it’s 50 years of existence – a most important reason to finally acknowledge this relevant contemporary cinematic style with a documentary.
